sewing / drawing

Here it still sits. I've got to get started on this project of mine. And it looks like I need to clean those windows. / i forgot to send this on friday. it rained on friday so our teacher brought in her dog for us to draw. it was the first time i had really experienced drawing a live model and i really like how it came out (even though it's near finished yet). she was so cute, she stayed in the same position the whole time. i know evee couldn't do that! haha now that you know it's a dog i'm sure you can tell what kind.

I found your blog through a comment you made on andie's blog. I love the name "spread your wings"
A mother/daughter blog ~ how cool that you are doing this together!
My daughter is only 4 but we dream of all the adventures we will have together and cherish the ones we are having right now.

hello Leslye, (aha, you know andie... i love the marvel that is blogland lol!)
your profile description nearly made me burst out crying - our eldest son left for university (200 km away) in early march this year and since then i have been finding therapy in making aprons for everyone i know (to help me "cut my apron strings", or at least let them stretch a little! i am weird, i know, but it helps my world keep turning...)
we mostly chat on skype or texts.
what a wonderful idea, blogging together!
looking forward to a wee peep inside your worlds.
love and sunshine
