spring into fall

L - Nikon / L - Nikon

"Departing summer hath assumed

An aspect tenderly illumed,

The gentlest look of spring;

That calls from yonder leafy shade

Unfaded, yet prepared to fade,

A timely carolling".

- William Wordsworth, September

The freshness of spring is no more and green of summer has faded but a beauty remains like no other - autumn.

daydreaming / dreamy sleep

...and Autumn is officially here. My favorite time of the year. I get so anxious for the season to begin, with it's cooler temperatures and bluer skies, and to walk amongst the crunching of leaves... to wrap in blankets, to eat chili and drink hot teas... to marvel at the colors on every leaf, to roast marshmallows and warm my feet(s).

what do you look forward to in the coming of autumn?

It's good when packages contain things we need (jewelry supplies for me and school books for her) but it's always more fun when they contain something we want - books for me and records for her.
I ordered these random books based on blog mentions or amazon recommendations. I'll let you know if they're any good. Do you have any good books to recommend? I'm always looking for a next good read. / i was excited when the UPS man came to my door this time - all of my text books had already been delivered so i knew this had to be the records i ordered. yah!
