just a day

solo post - L

Not much happened this day but that's ok.
Actually now that I think about it I did get quite a bit accomplished today. This morning I graduated from Boot Camp's 6wk session (I'm signing up for the 6wks summer with T); then I finally planted some plants that I bought a few weeks ago and took a few photos of the ones blooming; then I scrubbed my deck. Don't you hate it when a product claims something that is not true – like "no scrub" deck cleaner, just spray and rinse – HA. I scrubbed and scrubbed and it still wasn't getting clean and then it started to rain. I was kinda of glad for the rain – I was getting tired of scrubbing. So I came inside and took some photos of kodi at the window. I also did some reading at a good photo website I found and signed up for a seminar for T and I to take together. And by tonight I was feeling the need to get something else accomplished so I cleaned out my very messy kitchen junk drawer. I won't show you a photo of that – it would be embarrassing. There's just some things that I have a hard time knowing exactly where to put so they end up in that drawer, but it was getting so full you couldn't find anything if you wanted to. I'm sure some of you have drawers like that too. right?
So I guess the day wasn't a wash after all.
T had her own agenda today, editing photos from a show last night, cleaning her car, and catching up on some tivoed shows, and now is off with friends. I think I'll go read.

ah, yes. the kitchen drawer ... random bits and pieces all in one spot.

(would you recommend boot camp?)

My junk drawer can still be shoved shut -- so that will have to wait for another day. What seminar did you and T. sign up for? The boot camp idea still rattles around in my brain.

The boot camp I'm going to is not so tough since I just go on Saturday – it's not the full intensity of a true boot camp – but it's still a good workout and more than I was doing before. I always feel good afterwards.

That sounds like a lot of things got done! The photos today are great. Kodi is such a good looking cat! Yes, I have a kitchen junk drawer and I cleaned it out recently. It was funny to see the things that I tossed into that drawer thinking I should keep them!

I love the DPS website! I usually don't read it every day and then read all of the posts I missed about once a week.

Yes, I have two junk drawers! I love these photos, especially the one of the cat. Color/light are so beautiful.

I do hope you come to Heritage Day. Please introduce yourself if you see me there. I'll be the pregnant one!

I love these photos - each looking upward. Beautiful combination. Plus your day is pretty impressive. I have done nothing. Literally. Well, I either broke or sprained a toe (probably a sprain) but I'm not counting that.

Pretty colours. I'm hoping that colour is simply more intense where you are, because I'd be hard pressed to capture the depth of colour in these.

Junk drawers...they do close up if one crams the stuff down.

Actually, I think that would be a fun idea. For everyone to empty their junk drawer and take a photo of all the stuff. I bet it would tell us lots about the person.

Oh, I forgot to tell you this. These photos are gorgeous. I am especially in love with that yummy hydrangea image. I do love hydrangeas.
