T is settled in Athens, the twins visit has come to an end, the days are growing shorter... the house is quiet once again - whispering quiet – you can hear the wind chimes tinkle.
Did you make those? My daughter and I made some spoon chimes last summer. I was sad to have them fall apart this year. As I sit typing this though the wind is blowing and my new (yard sale) chimes are playing.
The photos on the left are taken by me, Leslye, the mother. The photos on the right are taken by my daughter, Taylor – unless otherwise noted. Comments are always welcome. thanks
If you care to visit, I, Leslye, have another blog - AutumnSun where I ramble around different paths and pleasures of my own.

beautiful shot - there is joy in the serenity I know and the slight caught breath of anticipation when they come home again.
L, somehow the quiet that you describe here is reminiscent and lonely yet somehow content.
Your windchime is beautiful.
What a gorgeous wind chime:)
Chimes are lovely! I love the melodic sounds tinkling in the breezes.
fantastic photo!
we have bamboo chimes, which almost thump and rattle rather than tinkle.
Your windchimes are cool! I love the bokeh in this shot!
How beautiful and creative. Wind chimes made of spoons?

I hope you will come to cherish you quiet as much as the bustle. Thinking of you.
