peach and copper

solo post - L
I bought 3 peaches at Whole Foods the other day with plans of photographing them... before we ate them. Well there's just one left now and here it sits. I have nothing but this lonely peach. The others sure were tasty and sweet.

This peach reminds me of "james and the giant peach". Doesn't it look really large? that bowl is actually very small.

What a pretty and calming image that is! Sigh. I wish we could get good peaches here. The ones in the food store are from CA and don't have much taste. The same with the plums.

I imagine you setting out to take a picture. I can picture you two ways, one - particular and practiced, seeking out the right texture on which to take the picture. And the second - lanquid and organic, soft and bruisish, happening upon all the right elements. I daresay you are number two.

Gorgeous photo - the two work perfectly together, and great title. If you hadn't eaten the other peaches, this would've been Peaches & Copper, and it would've sounded like a singing duo from the 60s. LOL!
