Indian Summer

L - Nikon / T- iphone selfie

Not a true Indian Summer I know (we haven't had our first frost) but... October in Atlanta - some days are cool - wanting a fire in the fireplace kind of cool, and some days are hot like summer - needing the air-conditioner back on kind of hot.

rock / candy

L - Nikon / T - Canon & L - iphone

August Break 9

I did something different with our post tonight. Taylor sent me a photo of the candy feathers she bought at a souvenir shop at Niagara Falls and I 'photoshopped' it together with a photo I took at work of a bowl full of chocolate "rock" candy she bought me. These "rocks" really fooled people at work - good way to keep people from eating your candy. haha
(I think I may have confused some people - in my head it made sense. Just to clarify: the top photo is a real feather on rock pebbles. I wanted to contrast it with the photo on the bottom which is candy feathers and candy rocks. sorry for the confusion)

figs / feather

solo post - L

This is my little gathering spot - holds just enough for a little snack. It's getting harder to find the figs - looks as if the birds have been having a feast. It's clear by the holes in the fruit and the evidence at my feet.

flutter / flicker

L - Nikon / T - Nikon sigma 30mm

Its a wordless wednesday for me. these images where chosen by me - one of mine, one of hers.

Taylor's bird cage with the candles I bought for her. They're really cool because they are battery- operated yet flicker like real candles and to turn them off you blow on them.
For once I'm going up to bed before 11pm. blows candles. Good night all.
