gift from a friend / God's gift

L - Nikon / T - iphone

Today, a year ago I became engaged... on this day next week I will be Mrs. Leslye Phillips. It's been a year of preparing but there will be sudden changes. Suddenly Taylor is having to move away from Atlanta. She was offered a job at Anthropologie’s brand new store in Franklin, TN and will be moving on the very day I will be returning from the honeymoon. Gone before I get home - having to move alone. This makes both of us sad. Suddenly I will have a man in my home. There will be major changes for both of us and we won't be close by to help each other with the adjusting.
As I look at these two photos of ours I see images reminding us to stay strong. The rock that my good friend blogger, Elaine, sent to me is a perfect quote to hold dear "Write in your heart that every day is the best of the year."  I do believe these changes will be positive growth for both of us.

Blessings as you make this transition.

I had a difficult day on Wed, and my devotion gave the message "we can loosen our grip on our concerns through prayer, allowing our hearts and minds to mature. We can not control every aspect...God will guide us in ways we likely could not have predicted."

Had this thought, maybe your daughter entrusts you will be fine and in good hands, so she can move beyond.

Wow this is wonderful that you will be marrying next week. Our prayers and hopes. Helpmate and Commitment. ---GJ
