a pause / a cause
Taylor and I have been absent in our blogging for way too long but today I want to take a pause with the mother / daughter blog and do something else. Hope you don't mind.
If you would know strength and patience, welcome the company of trees.
- Hal Borland
I do believe we can all say that it has taken some patience waiting on spring to arrive this year. The weather has been a little unpredictable in many parts of the country. But I think it's safe to say that spring has arrived and most of us are enjoying wonderful weather right about now and that is making us think of outdoors, and gardening, and spring cleaning indoors and out. I for one have been thinking about improvements to my yard.
Here in the south our blossoming spring color has past but for many of you it is in it's peak. No matter if it has past or not, with Spring we take notice of trees, of their blossom colors, of the tender spring-green leaves and everything coming alive. And it's wonderful and refreshing to be outdoors.
Did you know that Arbor Day is coming up? It's a time to celebrate the wonders of nature, and to plan for an even greener future. It gives us a reason to buy and plant new trees, ones we can enjoy next spring, and the next and the next...
"Like" my AutumnSunJewelry FB page and tell me your favorite kind of tree, or tree quote, in the comment section and you will be included in a drawing for my one of my Dogwood pendant necklaces.
Drawing ends on April 26th at midnight. Winner will be contacted via FB on Arbor Day, April 27th.
