mint / brand new

L - Nikon / T - Nikon

Mint ice cream is my favorite - so refreshing on a hot summer's night. / Taylor's getting her table setting together for her new apartment living. The vintage napkins (in "mint" condition) and the bird plates she picked out at an antique mall, the cute yellow plates are from World Market. I wish I was the one getting new dinnerware. I've been using the same plates since 1984. Hmm... something's wrong with this picture.

It's it ice cream ... then almost any flavor works for me, but I'll admit to having a special place in heart (tastebuds) for chocolate mint too. I buy vanilla for eating at home, but almost always have C-mint when buying a cone in public.

New plates for you sounds good to me ... it's time. Also is there a chance we might see some shots of Taylor's new place when she's ready for a reveal.

I was just dropping in to wish you and yours the happiest Independence Day. May your day be full! May you enjoy laughter shared with family, great food shared with friends, fireworks to make you gasp, a lump in your throat at the anthem, and a full and grateful heart at all we have been given. Happy Fourth of July, my friend!

start with bowls. for ice cream, of course, and then buy plates.

i don't eat ice cream - it doesn't like me - but, man, that mint looks wonderful!
