lush / plush

T - Nikon / L - Nikon

lush fresh juiciness of blackberries and plush green softness of moss - these are the luxuries of summer.

"Live in each season as it passes: breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit."
– Henry David Thoreau

blackberries say summer like nothing else - i can call up memories of picking them with my mother & brothers, tossing them into empty coffee cans.

I do so love moss. I am crazy with it. Isn't that odd. While we were at the Grand Canyon, we learned about something called Century Moss. It can truly live for 100 years without rain. But, if you water it, it turns green in less thaqna minute. Isn't this such a wonderous world?
