Sorry for my absence here. I've been without internet at my home since the middle of last week (something to do with damage to the phone line). Here at work I can sneak in a little reading or commenting at lunch or after hours - like now, but at home I've been gently forced to step away from the computer. It's a refreshing change really. Being away from the computer screen brings me into the other room where I've been enjoying a warm fire and reading a good book. I could get used to this. But I would miss you all so I look forward to getting my internet back and catching up with you. Until then the change is welcome. Please don't cross me off your list just yet.
I'll be here...just come back when you can.
ReplyDeleteOh my. I'm not sure I could tear myself away from this lovely place! Take advantage of the forced time off - we'll be here when you get back.

That does look inviting these chilly October days ...
ReplyDeleteit does us all good to step away from time to time.
ReplyDeleteand I meant to add, enjoy it and let us know how you enjoyed the book when you can.
ReplyDeleteIt's always good to have a break from blogging - especially near that beautiful fire! No, I won't cross you off my list :)
ReplyDeletei am like you. the change is sometimes a good thing. going to the cottage where the internet is not worth attempting brings more books and more conversaiton.
ReplyDeleteI actually love the times when I'm without a computer. After a few hours of feeling helpless, I get into all the things I put off by being here instead. Enjoy your time. But I definitely won't cross you off my list.
ReplyDeleteOh..this picture sums up how I want to spend a part of my day today. A good book, a good cup of tea, and oh how I wish I had a fireplace...I will have to curl up inside a blanket instead.
ReplyDeleteSee you when you return!
xo
I just found you, and I love your blog, so I have linked you to my site.. glad I discovered this beautiful site!
ReplyDeleteisn't is a lovely coincidence how much we are both feeling the pull to other creative experiences? but of course we neither one can pull ourselves away from our blogging friends :) you know i won't give up or go away don't you? you inspire loyalty my freind.
ReplyDeleteXO
