gift from a friend / God's gift

L - Nikon / T - iphone

Today, a year ago I became engaged... on this day next week I will be Mrs. Leslye Phillips. It's been a year of preparing but there will be sudden changes. Suddenly Taylor is having to move away from Atlanta. She was offered a job at Anthropologie’s brand new store in Franklin, TN and will be moving on the very day I will be returning from the honeymoon. Gone before I get home - having to move alone. This makes both of us sad. Suddenly I will have a man in my home. There will be major changes for both of us and we won't be close by to help each other with the adjusting.
As I look at these two photos of ours I see images reminding us to stay strong. The rock that my good friend blogger, Elaine, sent to me is a perfect quote to hold dear "Write in your heart that every day is the best of the year."  I do believe these changes will be positive growth for both of us.

afternoon / napternoon

L - Nikon / T - iphone selfie

textures on an autumn afternoon - what a great location for photographing a little boy. I helped my mom take photographs for portrait painting reference last Sunday / good napternoon - after getting up at 4:30 am, to get to work by 6 am, a nap in the afternoon sun is essential to my well being.
