I love them. And, I love...<I>Very</I> creepy cool images. I love them. And, I love abandoned and neglected things, especially houses. When we lived in Oregon there was a farm house down the road from us. It was literally falling apart and probably dangerous. Finally my husband asked me not to go back in again. He just knew I was going to get pinned under a collapsing ceiling. It was lovely, though. One entire wall had been taken over by the lilacs growing outside. Imagine how that house smelled - lilacs and age. Oh. Thanks for that lovely memory.Relyn Lawsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01389583730002062714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1750180433479096479.post-78415764015824334362009-02-27T07:09:00.000-08:002009-02-27T07:09:00.000-08:00I'll second the "be careful"Your shots are perfect...I'll second the "be careful"<BR/><BR/>Your shots are perfect and wonderfully mysterious, just like the house. There is a house near us that is abandoned. It seems so strange that someone is paying taxes on a property that they just hold on to and let the house fall into ruin. Every so often my husband and I talk about it and wonder what the story behind it is. Very odd.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1750180433479096479.post-20154522490455000472009-02-27T05:52:00.000-08:002009-02-27T05:52:00.000-08:00oooh creepy:)I too am fascinated with them those o...oooh creepy:)I too am fascinated with them those old homes...entered inside once with mom....the house was a gorgeous built in the 1930's a farmhouse....jadeite green bead board cupboards and walnut floors and trim open staircase...I could have moved right in..if not for the creeps we got up the back of our necks...we ran out of there FAST! cool stuff though:)Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02652086563988783910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1750180433479096479.post-85403064656714289842009-02-26T13:39:00.000-08:002009-02-26T13:39:00.000-08:00What a stunning diptych- love it!What a stunning diptych- love it!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1750180433479096479.post-1873569329424202592009-02-26T09:45:00.000-08:002009-02-26T09:45:00.000-08:00Awesome pictures....and I have to say that would c...Awesome pictures....and I have to say that would creep me out...going into a house that has been abandoned for so long.
