My nephew and I have been having a bit of healthy competition. I came home the other day to find my him outside shooting the BB gun at a tin can. You can see he's not a bad shot, especially for an 8 yr old. So of course I had to try my hand at it. I'm proud to say at my first shooting I hit it 2 out of 3. We've been taking turns shooting off and on all weekend. I wasn't a bad aim, but shot for shot he hit the target more than I did.
However, I'm not on target, at all, with my blog. Monday will be our one year anniversary for our Spread Your Wings blog and I had wanted to plan something special. With the late night working, T moving, and family visiting, I just haven't gotten my thoughts together on it. Stay tuned. I aim to have something to share soon - I just don't know what or even when.

ReplyDeleteYou go Annie Oakley.
ReplyDeletecongrats on the upcoming blog-i-versary! :) and being a great shot.
ReplyDeleteI can remember shooting bb's with my dad when I was a little girl just as your nephew will remember this.
Oh, that looks like soooo much fun! I know what you mean about the blog. I typically like to really aim/focus on things but my blog has not been getting it's usual attention!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the blogaversary! It's been fun seeing the great relationship you have with your daughter! Fun fun.
Congratulations on your blogiversary coming up! I'm so glad I found this blog and met you!
ReplyDeleteGood for you on the target competition!
I think the beauty of our blogging is that it is "ours" and we can do what we want - have your celebration a little later .... August is taking us all in different directions.
ReplyDeleteIt is Monday so I say congratulations!! Funny how quickly a year passes, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteAnd re: the shooting. My closest neighbor & landlord is a member of The Texas State Rifle Team, and shoots regularly for competition - 600 yards with no scope. He just got back from the big 2 week to-do. Came in 4th out of 1000 people. :)
Pretty amazing shooting all around, including photos.
